Overview
This one day workshop is about having the knowledge and
ability to know when you need information; what information
is needed; where to get the information; assessing the
relevance/quality of the information and knowing how best to
apply the information.
We live in an information society. We need to know when and
how to navigate our way through the wealth of knowledge and
information available to us. This is not only important for
individuals, but also for organisations. In an information
society/knowledge economy organisations need their employees
to have the skills to manage and use information efficiently
and effectively to keep their competitive edge.
