Fiona Leacock
 

Fiona is an experienced risk and training professional with a number of years experience of clinical risk management in a large acute teaching hospital. She also works as an Executive Management Consultant advising and teaching private and public sector organisations how to identify the hurdles they face in meeting national and governance targets and helping them to find appropriate solutions.

In addition, Fiona is an experienced facilitator and trainer. As a facilitator, Fiona has played an instrumental role in the setting up and convening of sustainable BME networks within the public sector assisting staff in recognising what holds them back from progression whilst positively highlighting to organisations the institutionalised limitations and systematic failures within their current structures. She has also works with managers to give them the tools to convene successful working and project groups.

As a trainer she has designed and delivered programmes specialising in.

* how to investigate an adverse incident,
* risk management and what it means for you the manager,
* root cause analysis,
* developing meaningful risk registers,
* developing a successful team
* developing a successful BME network and
* consent.

Fiona has a keen interest in helping teenagers to use music, dancing and writing as a way of expression. As such, she often holds sociable events to bring young people together to promote positive learning from each other.
